So far, we've eaten, lettuce, spinach, swiss chard, strawberries and peas from the garden. Also made pesto from basil, used a lot of dill, coriander, green garlic and garlic scapes in salsas and marinades.

This year I decided to seriously grow food, inspired by "Animal, Vegetable, Mineral" and the website "You Grow Girl". We have this huge back yard at our disposal, it's lush and fertile land, it seemed a waste to not use it. On a cold winter night, a couple of friends and I went to a City Harvest workshop at city hall and came away inspired.
